More "leather feathers," like those on the wings; these are small enough to allow greater detail, delicacy and texture to come into play...and they ARE playful, aren't they?

They are so much fun to make, sitting in my studio, or in front of the TV as I hang out with my Mom (side note: what does it say about Television today when I require a secondary activity to keep me amused in front of it).

I keep TRYING...really, I do...to produce more than one pair of a design, but so far my imagination has not run out of more exciting things to do. ;)

My beautiful and stunning SALT PONDS series are being shown at B St. Billiards in downtown San Mateo for the next couple months. You are invited and encouraged to come check out some art, play some pool and have a few beers in the swankiest pool hall on the penninsula! B St. Billiards serves beer, wine and some bar-food type snacks. Downtown San Mateo nearby has tons of other restaurants too, all within a few blocks of the pool hall. ALSO nearby is CalTrain (2 blocks).
